The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Edna Ayme-Yahil as Communications Director, effective November 28th.

Edna brings 20 years of experience in communications and corporate affairs with international exposure across a variety of industries and sectors, including corporates, intergovernmental organizations, and public-private partnerships to the CGF's headquarters in Paris.

“It is an absolute honour to join an organisation like The Consumer Goods Forum,” said  Edna.

“I am looking forward to partnering with our members to work on industry-defining initiatives driven by the CGF that help benefit people and planet. It is a privilege to work with such talented colleagues and members on some of the biggest challenges facing the consumer goods industry, including consumer health, deforestation, plastic waste, forced labour, food safety, and product data.”

Edna was born and raised in the United States, but she has spent the last twenty years living and working in Europe. Edna was previously VP, Head of Communications, Brand, and Sustainability at SITA, the world's leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology.

Prior to this, she was SVP Head of Marketing and Communications at freight forwarder Panalpina. She has also created and implemented integrated communications and brand strategies for large global corporations and government agencies such as EIT Digital, Nissan, STMicroelectronics, Philip Morris International, and UNESCO. ISCOM, École Supérieure de Communication et de Publicité, is where she teaches branding and public relations.

“I am very much looking forward to working with Edna as a member of CGF’s senior leadership team, as we continue to help the industry ensure better lives through better business. Edna’s vast and diverse experience will bring a fresh perspective to define our communications and marketing strategy and elevate the CGF brand and promote the activities of our eight Coalitions of Action,” said CGF’s Managing Director Wai-Chan Chan.
