01/23/2018

Caterpillar avidly supports Digger Foundation working in areas affected by war.

Dailycsr.com – 23 January 2018 – As a result of past and present conflicts or wars, the earth’s ground still harbours nearly “110 million land mines”. Having landmines puts a restriction on the “movement of people” which affects various “humanitarian aid”, besides turning lands “unsuitable for cultivation”.

Furthermore, landmines could also be responsible for the denial of accessibility to “water, food, care and trade” to various communities.

In order to make a difference amidst the affects of landmines, Caterpillar is supporting the “Digger Foundation” to work in “war-torn areas”.
