New Holland has developed an electro-hydraulic self-leveling tool to advance global agriculture in a sustainable way.

In a statement CNH Industrial said, its global agricultural brand New Holland Agriculture has won an EIMA Innovation Award for its electro-hydraulic self-leveling tool carrier system for telescopic handlers.

The award marks the agriculture industry’s latest recognition of its innovative technology and commitment to advancing global agriculture in a sustainable way for farmers all over the world.

Telehandlers traditionally use a hydraulic balance cylinder system to keep the attachment parallel to the ground when manipulating the boom. New Holland’s engineers have developed an innovative solution that eliminates the need for telehandler balancing cylinders with an electro-hydraulic self-leveling tool carrier system providing users with significant advantages.

Accurate attachment leveling minimizes the risk of load loss, reduces maintenance time and costs, and increases productivity with less operator effort. Developed by Sampierana Engineering, New Holland's new E15X electric excavator is a battery-electric, zero-emissions vehicle that uses bio-hydraulic oil. You can get 4 hours on a single charge or a full day with intermittent use, depending on usage.

The EIMA 2022 agricultural exhibition is scheduled to take place in Bologna, Italy from November 9th to 13th.
