Benevity Reports $150M in Giving Tuesday Donations and Record Global Participation

12/08/2025

Benevity, Inc., a global leader in social impact software, announced that its platform facilitated more than $150 million in nonprofit donations on Giving Tuesday. Nearly 16% of those contributions came from first-time givers, helping drive the largest single day of donation and volunteer engagement in the company’s history.

According to Benevity, over 165,000 people supported close to 60,000 nonprofits across 114 countries and territories on Giving Tuesday 2025. Throughout the day, donations were made at a pace of nearly one per second through the Benevity Enterprise Impact Platform. This year’s most-supported organizations included St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Room to Read, the National Center for Families Learning, and United Way Greater Toronto.

“We’re honored to work with so many outstanding companies as they empower their employees to live their purpose,” said Soraya Alexander, CEO of Benevity. “The impact of this year’s Giving Tuesday shows how much generosity can flourish when people are able to connect with causes that matter to them. These moments inspire and energize people through their work—and for the broader good.”

More than 650 corporate programs were activated on Benevity’s platform for Giving Tuesday. Other insights included a 9.2% increase in individual volunteers, topping 23,000 participants. One decline noted was the average donation amount per donor, which fell by nearly 4% compared to last year.

“This year’s Giving Tuesday—featuring $4 billion in donations and record volunteer engagement across the U.S.—highlights the strength of collective effort,” said Asha Curran, CEO of GivingTuesday. “With partners like Benevity, we’re helping communities and workplaces around the globe turn generosity into lasting impact. The movement continues to expand, not only in funding but in the growing willingness of people to support one another.”
