Arrow Electronics’ women tech conference draws mega attendees.

The Colorado Tech Association, sponsored by Arrow Electronics, hosted a running women's tech conference honoring women across the industry. The event was held in person for the first time since 2020 and drew 650 attendees at Spruce Mountain Ranch, a retreat south of Denver.

The conference featured networking opportunities, professional development workshops, keynote speakers, and panel discussions.

Attendees spoke directly with female executives and community leaders about emerging trends in technology, leadership, and the opportunities and challenges women face as they build careers in technology.

Kim Brown-Wilmsen, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Global Application Solutions at Arrow, opened the conference, with keynote speaker Shivani Shiroya, Founder and CEO of Tala (Leading Financial Technology in Emerging Markets).

Brown-Wilmsen also acted as a 'person of honour' at the conference, sharing his career experience in a panel discussion.

“Networking with 650 women leaders from Colorado for a day has been extremely rewarding and our speakers consistently provide valuable insights. We are proud and grateful that so many women at Arrow will be able to experience this day," said Braun Wilmsen.

Arrow has strengthened its commitment to diversity and inclusion by increasing the company's racial and ethnic representation in the United States and increasing the number of female employees worldwide, thereby hiring and advancing women's careers.
