10/17/2016

With the help of the employees and their family members, AT&T and “Stop Hunger Now” move forward to “end world hunger”.

Dailycsr.com – 17 October 2016 – On the 24th of September 2016, over six hundred employees of AT&T gathered in the “Dallas-Fort Worth” along with their family members for packing “178,848 meals” in an attempt to feed hungry mouths.

The said attempt was carried out in partnership with the “Stop Hunger Now” which, in fact, created a record for such “single day” effort in the chapter of Dallas area. Moreover, this event was also in line with AT&T’s goal of putting end to “world hunger”.

The said event synchronised with “Employee Resource Group conference” organised by AT&T for the year of 2016, whereby bringing members together from all twelve ERGs for their service to the society. Besides extending oneself beyond the goals and “breaking records”, the event provided an opportunity for creating “countless” memories for the individuals, while strengthening old friendships and building “new and lasting” ones. Showing a gratitude, the director AT&T, “Community Engagement”, Tina Morefield, writes:
“Thanks to all of our employees for continuing to be a force for the greater good and making an #ATTimpact”.
