AEG team members in Southern California and New York come together each year for the company’s annual Day of Service, contributing their time and talents to volunteer initiatives that support and uplift local communities. The event underscores the impact of collective action, demonstrating how employees nationwide can create positive change and foster hope by working toward a shared mission.
In Los Angeles, 250 employees representing every area of AEG’s business—including L.A. LIVE, Global Partnerships, AXS, L.A. Galaxy, L.A. Kings, and Crypto.com Arena—took part in a collaborative “Wall Build” project alongside San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. Hosted at the L.A. LIVE campus, volunteers assembled wall frames, painted, and constructed materials that will be used in future homes in Altadena. Vista Paint generously supplied paint and necessary materials, while Frito-Lay and Coca-Cola provided food and drinks to keep participants energized throughout the day.
“Our Service Day with SGV Habitat for Humanity demonstrates our continued dedication to fire recovery efforts,” said Anette Padilla, Senior Director of Community Foundation and Social Impact at AEG. “Almost a year later, the need for rebuilding remains, and we were proud to contribute hands-on support to help restore homes and renew optimism in affected communities.”
Building on the more than $2 million already donated by the AEG family toward Los Angeles fire relief, the company also presented San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity with a $150,000 donation to further rebuilding efforts in neighborhoods impacted by the Altadena fires.
On December 16, AEG and Bowery Presents employees will once again collaborate with City Year New York for their third consecutive year to spread holiday joy at Emma Lazarus Elementary School in Brooklyn. Volunteers will decorate the school with festive displays, create seasonal crafts with students, and spend time in classrooms reading in small groups to foster a warm and engaging atmosphere.
