3BL has pledged $10,000 in matching funds to bolster Berkshire Bounty’s End of Year Fundraising Campaign, launching today for #GivingTuesday. This challenge grant will match every contribution made throughout the campaign, amplifying the immediate impact of this essential food-security effort that supports Berkshire County residents experiencing hunger.
So far in 2025, Berkshire Bounty has distributed 603,000 pounds of food to 32 emergency food sites, reaching 21,000 people each week. The organization also recently met with the Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services to help coordinate the state’s response to the surge in food insecurity driven by changes to SNAP benefits.
Through this matching opportunity, 3BL is helping Berkshire Bounty move closer to its $175,000 fundraising target—funding that is vital to maintaining operations through 2026 and meeting rising demand for food assistance across the region.
Our CEO, Charlie Wilkie, explains why this work is so meaningful: “Although 3BL now operates remotely, our roots are in Massachusetts, and that connection still matters to us. Berkshire Bounty is doing practical, quietly powerful work—getting nutritious food to the people who need it most. With so many families under pressure, supporting an organization that strengthens its own community feels like the right thing to do.”
