Beko has unveiled its 2025 Integrated Report, detailing the company's financial, environmental, and social achievements over the past year. Alongside the report, the home appliance manufacturer has once again been recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the World's Most Sustainable Companies, securing the top spot in its industry for the third consecutive year. Compiled in collaboration with Statista, the ranking acknowledges organizations that demonstrate measurable and transparent sustainability performance.

The report highlights significant progress across Beko's global manufacturing network during 2025, including:

Energy efficiency initiatives at production facilities saved 69,562 gigajoules (GJ) of energy, preventing approximately 5,297 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions.

Recycling rates at manufacturing sites climbed to 98.6%, approaching the company's 99% target.

Installed renewable energy capacity increased to 96 MWp, up from 90.2 MWp a year earlier, while 63.5% of the electricity used in manufacturing now comes from renewable sources, supporting Beko's goal of achieving 100% green electricity by 2030.

Water conservation and rainwater harvesting projects collectively saved 219,114 cubic metres of water across its facilities.

These results are part of a broader modernization strategy focused on sustainable manufacturing. Three Beko production plants are now part of the World Economic Forum's Global Lighthouse Network, with the company's Ulmi facility also earning the prestigious Sustainability Lighthouse designation. The best practices developed at Ulmi are being introduced across Beko's wider manufacturing operations as the company expands environmentally responsible production. Beko currently operates 13 smart factories equipped with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics technologies, with plans to increase that number to 17 by the end of 2026.

The company also continued advancing its circular economy initiatives. During 2025, Beko's refurbishment centres returned more than 148,000 household appliances to the market. Since 2014, the company has recycled 1.98 million waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) units through its own facilities and incorporated 31,665 tonnes of recycled plastic into its products during 2025.

Sustainability also played a key role in Beko's product portfolio. The report states that 72.6% of the company's 2025 revenue came from low-carbon products, reflecting both the breadth of its energy-efficient appliance range and growing consumer interest in environmentally conscious products.

Commenting on the achievement, Can Dinçer, CEO of Beko, said that the company's repeated recognition by TIME underscores how deeply sustainability is integrated into its operations. He noted that Beko's manufacturing facilities are undergoing simultaneous digital and decarbonization transformations, with progress measured through clearly defined performance indicators. As global attention turns toward COP31, he emphasized that demonstrating tangible results is more meaningful than making broad sustainability claims.

TIME's annual sustainability ranking assesses more than 5,000 companies worldwide, evaluating factors such as environmental and social performance, transparency, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting. Beko's continued presence at the top of its industry reflects the company's long-term integration of sustainability across its operations, supply chain, and product development.

In addition to the Integrated Report, Beko also released its second sustainability report aligned with the Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS). The report follows Türkiye's implementation of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and provides detailed information on the company's climate-related governance, strategy, risks, opportunities, and performance.

ScottsMiracle-Gro has published its 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report, highlighting progress toward its environmental, social, and governance commitments that shape the company’s long-term sustainability vision. These priorities align with its mission to GroMoreGood everywhere.

“Our purpose to GroMoreGood reflects the responsibility we have to our communities, our planet, our customers, and to each other,” said Chairman and CEO Jim Hagedorn. “With our industry-leading products and solutions, we give people the tools to nurture their own piece of the Earth. As those spaces flourish, they deliver significant environmental benefits. At the heart of it, we aim to create a better world, and this report shows how we are putting that into practice.”

Key accomplishments from the past year include:

Innovations in natural products and packaging: In 2024, the company launched Miracle-Gro Organic Raised Bed & Garden Soil, created with locally sourced materials and upcycled green waste. In 2025, the organic line expanded to both indoor and outdoor uses. ScottsMiracle-Gro also introduced drought-resistant grass varieties to support water conservation, rolled out 100% recyclable packaging for its O.M. Scott & Sons brand, and reduced virgin plastic use with refillable pouches under its Ortho brand.

Waste diversion and resource efficiency: The company redirected 1.76 million pounds of coir waste (a coconut byproduct used in soils and lawn care products) toward agricultural, municipal, and industrial uses through collaborations with sustainability partners. Plastic film waste was recycled into outdoor building materials such as decking and railings, while irrigation water use in greenhouses was cut by nearly 50%.

Community outreach and education: By partnering with nonprofits focused on conservation, pollinators, and land protection, ScottsMiracle-Gro exceeded its 2024 goal of engaging 157 million people. Its foundation expanded support for The Nature Conservancy’s water quality work in Ohio and Long Island to also include the Colorado River Basin.

Impact through grants and partnerships: Over 180 grants were awarded to connect children and communities with gardens and green spaces. Recipients included Columbus City Schools’ Farm to School Program, KidsGardening’s GroMoreGood Grassroots Grants, and The National Head Start Association’s GroMoreGood Garden Grants. Additional initiatives empowered students through mentorship and real-world career opportunities in Ohio and supported math education nationwide with the Doodles & Digits program.

ScottsMiracle-Gro credits the collective efforts of its employees and partners for these achievements and reiterates its commitment to ongoing progress that benefits consumers, associates, communities, and the environment.

Click here to see the complete report.
