A private charter flight might be arranged in London, managed from Dubai, refueled in Nice, and funded by a customer in New York. Despite operating in a highly interconnected global environment, many aviation companies still depend on traditional payment systems that can take several days to process international transactions. Nuvion and JetPay are working to transform that reality.

Nuvion, an AI-driven global banking and cross-border payments platform that leverages both fiat currencies and stablecoins for businesses and fintech organizations, has announced a strategic partnership with JetPay (formerly Jet Link), a fintech solution specifically designed for private aviation operators and air charter brokers. The collaboration aims to provide advanced financial infrastructure tailored to the aviation sector.

By combining JetPay’s aviation-centric operational platform with Nuvion’s global payments and treasury capabilities, the partnership offers aviation companies a more efficient way to handle international payments, supplier settlements, and treasury management within a unified ecosystem.

As private aviation continues to expand internationally, operators and brokers are increasingly challenged by cross-border payments, vendor settlements, aircraft-related expenses, and treasury operations across multiple regions. Through this alliance, JetPay clients will gain access to financial tools designed to simplify and streamline global business operations.

Key benefits of the partnership include:

Global multi-currency accounts for aviation operators and charter brokers

Accelerated international payments to suppliers, crew members, service providers, and business partners

Stablecoin-powered settlement options for worldwide transactions

Embedded financial services integrated directly into aviation workflows

Simplified treasury and payment management across different jurisdictions

With Nuvion’s regulated financial infrastructure embedded into the JetPay platform, aviation businesses can access modern banking, payment, and treasury solutions without the burden of maintaining multiple banking relationships or navigating fragmented financial systems.

“This partnership marks a major step forward in financial infrastructure for the aviation industry,” said Keisha Clark, Managing Director of Nuvion.

“While private aviation operates on a global scale, the financial systems supporting it have not kept pace. Together with JetPay, we are creating a smoother, faster way for operators and brokers to move funds internationally.”

Gabriel Madrid, Chief Aviation Officer at JetPay, added, “JetPay was created to modernize the operational framework of private aviation by making payments faster and more efficient. Through our collaboration with Nuvion, we are extending that innovation to financial services, enabling passengers, brokers, and operators to expand globally with intelligent, always-on payment capabilities.”

From paying for fuel in Europe and compensating crews in the Middle East to receiving customer payments from North America, aviation businesses can now manage global financial transactions through a single integrated platform.

The partnership underscores Nuvion’s vision that companies operating internationally should be able to transfer money across borders with the same ease and speed that they conduct business worldwide.

FedEx Corporation has published its annual Global Economic Impact Report, which showcases how the company’s worldwide logistics network continues to drive innovation and economic growth throughout fiscal year 2025 (FY25). The report, developed in collaboration with Dun & Bradstreet, a global leader in business analytics and data solutions, outlines the far-reaching influence FedEx has on people, businesses, and communities across the globe — an effect often described as the “FedEx Effect.”

“For more than half a century, FedEx has helped shape global commerce by delivering innovative shipping solutions that connect people and markets,” said Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation. “Our culture of innovation, supported by our team’s dedication to excellence and bold thinking, enabled our network to keep powering global progress this past year amid evolving trade dynamics and supply chain transformations.”

During FY25, FedEx generated a $126 billion contribution to the global economy through direct and indirect impacts, underscoring both the scale of its operations and its ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and service quality in its first full year operating under the unified “One FedEx” structure.

Global Reach and Scale
FedEx manages the world’s largest industrial logistics network, providing services to over 220 countries and territories. The company employs more than 500,000 team members across 5,000 facilities, moving roughly 17 million packages daily and transporting goods valued at over $2 trillion each year.

Highlights from the FY2025 Report

Trade and Global Connectivity

Building on decades of expertise in international logistics and customs brokerage, FedEx continues to serve as a vital partner in global trade. By analyzing evolving trade regulations and market trends, the company has optimized its network capacity to better serve customers and streamline global supply chains.

Operational Improvements

Throughout FY25, FedEx advanced major network optimizations, including the consolidation of its surface transportation system and redesign of its international air routes to align with shifting trade flows. Significant infrastructure projects were also completed, such as a new automated sorting facility in Memphis, a Life Science Center in the Netherlands, an advanced freight and parcel facility in Thailand, and a new international service station in Brazil.

Supplier Partnerships

In 2024, nearly 90% of FedEx’s 100,000 suppliers were small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs around the world.

Technology and Innovation

FedEx continues to integrate digital and AI-driven technologies into its operations, using data from its vast network to create smarter, more agile supply chains. The company expanded its AI-powered customs brokerage tools, helping customers reduce clearance delays and adapt to shifting trade and regulatory landscapes.

Support for Small Businesses

To help SMEs expand globally, FedEx has introduced a suite of digital tools and programs. In FY25, the Collaborative Shipping Tool was made available to import customers across APAC, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S., streamlining international trade management.

Sustainability Progress

FedEx continues to move toward its 2040 carbon-neutral operations goal through investments in renewable energy, electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and aircraft modernization. In FY25, it began its first major U.S. rollout of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), securing over 3 million gallons for use at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Community Impact

Through its FedEx Cares initiative, the company contributed $55.5 million to nonprofit organizations in FY25, with employees volunteering over 81,000 hours globally. FedEx also provided critical shipping and logistical support for disaster relief efforts worldwide.

U.S. Economic Impact
FedEx serves every ZIP code in the United States through an expansive network of 3,800 facilities, 700 aircraft, and 40,000 vehicles, supported by 5,700 independent service providers. With approximately 375,000 U.S. employees, FedEx remains one of the nation’s largest private employers.

According to the report, in FY25 FedEx directly accounted for 6.6% of the U.S. Transportation and Warehousing sector’s total net economic output and indirectly added $7.8 billion across the wider U.S. economy.

The company’s extensive infrastructure — including major air hubs in Memphis and Indianapolis and international gateways in Alaska and Miami — positions it to respond rapidly to shifts in trade and logistics demand. FedEx also provides advanced supply chain and distribution services to key industries such as automotive manufacturing and pharmaceuticals, reinforcing its role as an essential player in both domestic and global commerce.
