Pony AI Inc, a leading company in advancing and commercializing autonomous driving at scale, has announced that its self-driving mobility service in Singapore—run in partnership with ComfortDelGro—has secured regulatory clearance to begin its “by-invite” ride phase, the final step before opening to the general public.

This development represents an important milestone for Pony.ai’s expansion in Singapore and supports its dual-engine growth strategy, which focuses on scaling autonomous mobility operations both within China and internationally. The progress also highlights the company’s continued collaboration with local authorities and partners to advance autonomous transport solutions in the country.

The service operates along a 12-kilometre route in the north-eastern district of Punggol, linking neighborhoods such as Punggol Northshore and Waterway Sunrise with major destinations including Oasis Terraces, Punggol Plaza, One Punggol, and Punggol Coast Mall. It also offers direct connectivity to the Punggol Coast MRT station and nearby bus interchange. The full journey takes approximately 55 minutes and is expected to reduce travel time by up to 15 minutes compared to existing public transport options.

Dr. James Peng, Founder and CEO of Pony.ai, stated that Singapore plays a key role in the company’s global rollout plans. He noted that entering the by-invite stage with ComfortDelGro moves the initiative closer to real-world operational use, allowing autonomous mobility technology to be tested in everyday commuting conditions. He also emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration with local partners as the project advances.

Pony.ai initially revealed its plans for Singapore in September 2025 as part of its broader international expansion. This initiative builds on its strategic partnership with ComfortDelGro, which began with a memorandum of understanding signed in July 2024 and included a pilot autonomous mobility project in Guangzhou in March 2025. Together, both organizations aim to support Singapore’s efforts to enhance first- and last-mile connectivity through innovative transport solutions.

The Singapore rollout also reflects Pony.ai’s wider growth strategy. Having already demonstrated the commercial viability and strong unit economics of its robotaxi model in China, the company is now extending its proven expertise to international markets while continuing to strengthen its domestic presence. Singapore serves as a key example of applying this experience abroad.

During the by-invite phase, selected members of the local community will be able to try the service before it becomes widely available. Feedback gathered during this period will help Pony.ai and ComfortDelGro refine operations in collaboration with Singapore’s Land Transport Authority and other stakeholders, paving the way for a full public launch.

Case IH has collaborated with Raven Industries to create advanced, driverless spreading solutions for agriculture.

Two of CNH Industrial’s brands, Case IH and Raven Industries, present the agricultural industry's first autonomous spreader - the Case IHTrident™ 5550 applicator and the Raven Autonomy™. These innovative solutions have been presented at the Farm Progress Show 2022, to meet customer demands for autonomous devices to solve work challenges and increase productivity in their farms.

"This is an important milestone in our accelerated product development efforts between Case IH and Raven that underscores our intense collaboration and strong product innovation following CNH Industrial's acquisition of Raven in late 2021," said Scott Harris, Case IH Global Brand President.

The Case IHTrident 5550 applicator and the Raven Autonomy combine proven driverless technology with an agronomically designed dispensing platform for a flexible autonomous solution. The technology stack is supported by Raven's guidance and guidance, propulsion control, perception and route planning software.

"The core of today's agricultural technology is rooted in Raven's customer-centric approach: simplifying agricultural processes for great efficiency," said Eric Shuman, Rabe's general manager. "This integrated solution enables customers to make their operations even more efficient by encouraging them to consciously opt for higher and higher levels of automation and autonomy."

Using a mobile device, operators can plan and complete an entire field operation based on mapped field boundaries. The Raven Autonomy detection system uses an array of advanced cameras and a radar system to constantly detect a 360-degree environment around the machine for obstacles and movement initiation during operation. Using artificial intelligence, Raven's perception controller processes the continuous stream of images, interpreting and detecting obstacles.

The remote operator can view the cameras at any time via the mobile device.

"The Raven Autonomy perception system offers an advanced and reliable solution for autonomous operations and was developed specifically for the Spreader application with a self-propelled machine,” said Shuman.

The Case IH Trident 5550 applicator with Raven Autonomy enables one or more driverless machines in the field without an in-cab operator who gives the the flexibility of full control inside or outside the cab. Operating with constant speed and precision, the self-contained applicator provides maximum spread consistency without human error, enabling repeatable performance with sub-centimeter accuracy.

"The Case IH Trident 5550 applicator with Raven Autonomy allows us to get more work done under tight deadlines, run our operations efficiently and combat operator fatigue - that is a huge benefit,” said Brady Fahlman, owner/operator of Fahlman Acres in Holdfast, Saskatchewan, Canada while adding, "The autonomous team is able to deliver a consistent job every time, which is very important to me as we have built a reputation for impeccable and quality work at our facility."

"This is the first of many integrations that will automate established Case IH iron mower decks as we continue to create a fully autonomous crop production cycle."
