      <div style="text-align: justify;">By working closely with our suppliers and customers, we have a valuable opportunity to create mutual benefits while paving the way for a more sustainable future. <br />   <br />  In FY24, Sysco achieved several key milestones:</div>    <ul>  	<li style="text-align: justify;">Introduced the One Planet One Table product line, featuring over 3,500 items on Sysco Shop, our e-commerce platform, with sales growth exceeding that of non-assortment items.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;">Surpassed our 2025 coffee sourcing goal, with 36.7% of Sysco Brand whole bean and ground coffee coming from certified sources and 45.8% sourced through verified responsible sourcing programs.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;">Maintained our commitment to the Southern Plains Grassland Program, collaborating with partners to allocate $7.4 million in grants in FY24 to promote sustainable beef production practices.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;">Exceeded $1 billion in spending with certified diverse Tier 1 suppliers.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;">Implemented new packaging guidelines for suppliers, reducing 83,000 pounds of corrugate by switching Sysco Brand exterior packaging from white to kraft corrugate cases. Additionally, PSEG has been ranked as the leading utility in the Energy &amp; Utilities sector on Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies 2025 list. These accolades highlight PSEG’s continued commitment to supporting employees, the communities it serves, and the customers who depend on its services—while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility. <br />   <br />  The DJSI acknowledges organizations that uphold ethical and sustainable business practices, particularly in areas such as environmental stewardship, corporate governance, and workforce and community engagement. The full DJSI 2024 announcement can be accessed online. <br />   <br />  America’s Most Responsible Companies, a ranking presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., is determined through an independent survey that collected over 40,000 evaluations, with awarded companies averaging over 100 assessments each. The full list of recognized companies is available online. <br />   <br />  <strong>Powering Progress: PSEG’s Vision for the Future</strong> <br />  PSEG’s <em>Powering Progress</em> initiative envisions a future where energy is used more efficiently, is cleaner, and is delivered with greater reliability and safety. One example is the Estuary Enhancement Program, which has restored thousands of acres of marshland in South Jersey.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Strategic land management</strong> to protect ecosystems where utility infrastructure exists.</li>  	<li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Waste reduction programs</strong> emphasizing recycling, reuse, and recovery. Remarkably, our gender pay gap was less than 1%, with a 99% pay equity ratio for women compared to men among full-time nonexecutive employees. We also set goals to achieve gender and racial parity in leadership and non-leadership roles by FY26. In FY23, we reached gender parity in leadership roles, maintaining 28% representation in FY24, and improved leadership representation for people of color by 2%, reaching 25%. <br />  &nbsp; <br />  We hold ourselves accountable by linking progress on these goals to leadership performance evaluations, impacting bonus compensation. To foster diverse leadership, we promote diverse candidate slates, eliminate bias in recruitment processes, and offer leadership development programs like the AcceleratHER Women’s Leadership Academy and others aimed at underrepresented groups. <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Additionally, we continue to improve workplace practices to remove barriers, enhance inclusion, and ensure equitable opportunities for all employees.       <div style="text-align: justify;">In an industry first Duke Energy has successfully published the utility industry's first sustainable trade newspaper, in a move that further reinforces the company's leadership in sustainability. <br />   <br />  Duke Energy intends to pay or distribute an amount equal to the net proceeds of the common commercial paper to fund various company opportunity costs and programs. These include vendors certified by third-party organizations or government agencies as minority, women, veterans, service-disabled veterans, LGBT, persons with disabilities, or HUBZones (Historically Underutilized Business Zones). <br />   <br />  &nbsp;“We’re leading the industry’s largest clean energy transformation and are focused on achieving this transition in a way that also supports our communities and society at large,” said Steve Young, Duke Energy’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. <br />   <br />  “This includes maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, investing in diverse suppliers and small businesses, bringing jobs and investments into the communities we serve, and ensuring the transition to cleaner energy happens in a way that is equitable for everyone involved.” <br />   <br />  The majority of the issue of perpetual commercial securities is allocated or allocated to eligible projects in the category of socio-economic development and empowerment of the company's perpetual financial system. Some examples are purchasing products and services from other suppliers. educational support related to skills, infrastructure and professional development for ethnic minorities; Resources for identifying and funding companies with diverse founders, such as mentorship programs and access to professional services and networks. <br />   <br />  Duke Energy expects to hold between $350 million and $650 million in common stock over the next 12 months. <br />   <br />  Duke Energy's Sustainable Financing Framework identifies areas of investment that align with the company's clean energy strategy, enabling additional issuance of green and sustainable bonds, loans or other financing. Leader in sustainability <br />   <br />  Duke Energy is working with stakeholders across all service industries to lead the largest and most ambitious clean energy transition in North America. <br />   <br />  The company has set a goal of reducing carbon emissions from power generation by at least 50% by 2030, reducing net methane emissions from natural gas distribution operations to zero and achieving net zero emissions from power generation. <br />   <br />  By 2050.
