From June 23 to 25, HiTHIUM presented its latest energy storage innovations at The Smarter E Europe 2026, showcasing a comprehensive portfolio that included the world's first native 8-hour long-duration energy storage (LDES) system, the ∞Power 6.9MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), the newly introduced ∞Power 1022kWh liquid-cooled commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage cabinet, and the ARKVOLT residential energy storage product range. Collectively, these solutions highlighted HiTHIUM's capability to deliver integrated energy storage applications across source-grid-load scenarios spanning one to eight hours.

As Europe accelerates its transition to renewable energy, the rapid expansion of wind and solar capacity is increasing the demand for flexible power system resources. Growing instances of negative electricity pricing, heightened grid-balancing challenges, and rising renewable energy consumption requirements are shifting the energy storage market beyond short-duration applications toward long-duration energy storage, positioning LDES as a critical component of high-renewable power systems.

To meet evolving expectations around cost efficiency, safety, reliability, and scalability, HiTHIUM has developed a vertically integrated technology framework encompassing dedicated battery cells through to complete system integration. A key highlight at the exhibition was the ∞Power 6.9MWh 8-hour BESS. Built around the world's first 1300Ah battery cell specifically designed for 8-hour LDES applications, the system delivers over 6.9MWh of storage capacity and provides a stable eight-hour output within a standard 20-foot container.

Featuring a design lifespan of up to 25 years and flexible deployment options, the solution helps reduce both land requirements and construction costs. Environmental sustainability is supported through the use of low-global-warming-potential coolants, leak-prevention technologies, and recyclable structural materials, while a layered safety architecture combines intrinsic cell safety, compartment-level protection, and advanced battery management systems.

HiTHIUM also unveiled the ∞Power 1022kWh liquid-cooled C&I energy storage cabinet for international commercial and industrial markets. Incorporating the company's proprietary ∞Cell 1175Ah high-capacity battery cell and a 1P272S system architecture, each cabinet offers a nominal storage capacity of 1022.72kWh, supports a 0.25P charge-discharge rate, and maintains system DC voltage below 1000V. By leveraging large-format cells, high system integration, liquid cooling technology, and intelligent energy management, the solution enhances integration efficiency, optimizes land use, simplifies installation, and improves lifecycle economics.

Compared with conventional multi-cabinet parallel systems, the new cabinet can reduce installation footprint by approximately 32% while achieving an energy density of about 300kWh per square meter. Designed for global deployment, it incorporates environmentally friendly refrigerants, operates across a wide temperature range, and features IP55 protection along with C5M anti-corrosion standards.

The event also marked the European introduction of HiTHIUM's residential energy storage business and the worldwide launch of its premium residential brand, ARKVOLT. The ARKVOLT lineup comprises three product series: R30, F8S, and L16/L16S. Utilizing HiTHIUM's proprietary ∞Cell 587Ah high-capacity battery technology, the R30 series delivers enhanced energy density, system efficiency, and lower lifecycle costs for large residential and light commercial applications.

The F8S range is designed for premium whole-home backup solutions, while the L16/L16S series emphasizes flexibility, scalability, and strong economic returns across residential and light commercial scenarios. The global launch of ARKVOLT represents a strategic expansion of HiTHIUM's end-user energy services business, supporting its evolution from global product deployment to global brand development while strengthening its residential energy storage ecosystem.

During the exhibition, HiTHIUM also entered into strategic partnerships with several European companies, including Turbo Energy, S.A., to advance local deployment of long-duration energy storage solutions integrated with AI-powered energy management systems and commercial and industrial applications. At the same time, HiTHIUM's ∞Power 6.25MWh 4-hour LDES BESS demonstrated exceptional performance during large-scale fire testing, securing certification from UL Solutions and successfully completing assessments by TÜV Rheinland. The system subsequently achieved both UL 9540 and IEC 62933-5-2 certifications, reinforcing HiTHIUM's leadership in large-format battery technology and system safety while providing a strong foundation for large-scale global deployment.

As renewable energy penetration continues to rise worldwide, long-duration energy storage is rapidly moving toward widespread commercial adoption. HiTHIUM remains committed to advancing LDES technologies, driving innovation, and expanding its global footprint through a comprehensive portfolio of battery cells, energy storage systems, and full-scenario applications to support customers worldwide and accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
