Patten Properties has unveiled the final phase of homesites at Republic Grand Ranch, giving buyers one last chance to purchase land directly from the developer in the sought-after Montgomery County acreage community. The announcement comes shortly after Republic Grand Ranch earned recognition as the Houston Chronicle's Best of the Best Community.

Houston radio personality Michael Berry reflected on the community's success, saying he has been sharing the story of the Grand Ranch developments for more than a decade. He noted that what began with Texas Grand Ranch has continued with Republic Grand Ranch, where thousands of listeners have become landowners. According to Berry, many of those buyers are now neighbors who have fulfilled their dream of owning land and building a home.

KeyBank and Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania, have announced a new community partnership that will provide funding for the Zoo-On-Wheels program. This mobile zoo visits over 400 schools and community groups across Montgomery County annually. The three-year sponsorship agreement includes KeyBank's branding on a Zoo-On-Wheels vehicle, as well as opportunities for the bank to host events and offer zoo access to clients, employees, and community members. Thanks to KeyBank's support, the zoo plans to introduce a new vehicle to the Zoo-On-Wheels fleet in January, expanding its ability to bring educational experiences to more communities.

KeyBank officially launched the partnership with an event at the zoo on October 1, 2024, attended by zoo leaders, board members, and 150 KeyBank staff and their families, who enjoyed refreshments and private animal exhibit viewings.
