Antaisolar introduced its We Cover | Solar Roof One-Stop Solution, designed to address major challenges in the rooftop solar sector through an integrated approach combining a broad product portfolio, advanced installation technology, large-scale production capability, and end-to-end customer support. As a prominent provider of solar rooftop mounting systems, the company has delivered more than 20 GW of distributed PV mounting solutions worldwide and has consistently held leading market positions across Australia, Japan, the Americas, and Southeast Asia for several years.

ALTRA Rooftop Mounting System Series Launch
To handle diverse rooftop structures and differing regional standards, Antaisolar unveiled the ALTRA Rooftop Mounting System Series. Built on the idea that each rooftop requires a tailored solution, ALTRA offers a scenario-driven and performance-based range across four key applications, structured into three product categories: PRO, BASE, and LITE.

The PRO series is engineered for highest performance and maximum installation efficiency. BASE strikes an optimal balance between cost and performance, while LITE provides a cost-effective, simplified solution suited for regions with lighter wind and snow load requirements.

SnapFit Flash Installation System Improves Efficiency
A key highlight of the launch was the live demonstration of the SnapFit Flash Installation System on an actual metal roof. The system integrates grounding into pre-assembled components and uses an innovative injection-molded spring mechanism. Installation is reduced to three simple steps—place, rotate, and snap—eliminating the need for complex tools and significantly streamlining on-site work. This approach can improve installation efficiency by up to 50%.

Strong In-House Manufacturing Capabilities
Antaisolar’s upgraded manufacturing infrastructure plays a critical role in supporting its solutions. The newly developed 160,000㎡ industrial park offers an annual production capacity of 15 GW (10 GW aluminum and 5 GW carbon steel), supported by a fully integrated manufacturing workflow.

The facility includes three main production units:

Extrusion & Oxidation, responsible for aluminum shaping and surface treatment

Precision Machining, ensuring high-accuracy cutting and forming

Carbon Steel Processing, producing high-strength structural profiles

In addition, a self-developed 6 MW rooftop solar installation generates approximately 7.17 million kWh annually for internal use, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

Commitment to Long-Term Customer Value
Positioned as a full-lifecycle partner, Antaisolar focuses on delivering comprehensive value to customers across all stages of project development. The company has introduced SolarAID, an intelligent rooftop design platform that enables roof mapping, optimized system layout, and instant quotation generation in a simple, user-friendly interface.

For distributors, Antaisolar provides a complete value-chain support system that includes co-branding initiatives, standardized kit supply, and extensive technical assistance to improve project execution efficiency. For MW-scale commercial and industrial clients, the company offers full lifecycle services to ensure seamless project delivery and long-term operational stability.

GameChange Solar, a global provider of solar tracker and fixed-tilt mounting systems, has completed what it describes as the industry’s first full-scale seismic shake table test for a solar tracker. The company evaluated its Genius Tracker system at the University of California, Berkeley’s Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research (PEER) Center, following IEEE 693 seismic design guidelines. The testing replicated severe earthquake conditions typical of high-risk areas, including the New Madrid Seismic Zone—one of the most demanding scenarios for solar installations in the United States.

During the program, a full-scale tracker equipped with PV modules was exposed to progressively stronger seismic forces, including broadband motion and high-intensity testing reaching up to 2.5g spectral acceleration.

Across various configurations and stress levels, the system showed strong resilience:

Critical components such as torque tubes, bearings, posts, and actuators remained structurally intact.

Built-in seismic design elements, including GameChange’s proprietary Lateral Capture System, activated as designed and effectively managed load distribution.

The PV modules experienced no microcracking and less than 1% performance degradation.

The tracker motor continued to function normally after the tests were completed.

Scott Van Pelt, Chief Engineer at GameChange Solar, noted that as solar projects expand into earthquake-prone regions like California, Chile, and the New Madrid Fault Zone, there has been limited real-world performance data for modern utility-scale trackers under seismic stress. He stated that the results now provide clear evidence that systems like the Genius Tracker can be engineered to endure significant earthquake forces.

Detailed findings are outlined in the white paper titled “Seismic Shake Table Testing of Single Axis Solar Trackers,” available through GameChange Solar. The results were also shared during a pv magazine webinar on March 18, highlighting how shake table testing demonstrates the earthquake resilience of solar tracking systems.

Seismic failure at a solar facility can lead to extensive module damage, expensive repairs, prolonged downtime, and safety risks for operations and maintenance teams. By establishing a data-backed performance benchmark, GameChange Solar aims to help developers, asset owners, and insurers better assess seismic risk and make informed decisions for projects in high-risk zones.

The system’s performance was independently verified by the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) in Fremont, California, which confirmed that it remained structurally sound and fully operational after testing.

Overall, the results indicate that the Genius Tracker system is built to deliver reliable performance in seismic environments, supporting solar deployment in some of the world’s most challenging conditions.
