Monport Laser has expanded its range of desktop laser engraving and cutting solutions with the launch of two advanced CO₂ laser systems—the Monport Mega S and the Reno65 Pro Vision. Designed for makers, hobbyists, and small businesses, the new machines combine intelligent automation, enhanced precision, and streamlined workflows to make professional-grade fabrication more accessible.

Advanced Desktop Laser Solutions for Growing Creative Businesses
As demand rises for compact manufacturing tools, desktop laser engravers and cutters are becoming increasingly popular among entrepreneurs, online sellers, custom product creators, and small production studios. These systems enable users to manufacture personalized products, signage, and custom designs without the need for large-scale industrial equipment.
Monport’s latest releases are built to address key market requirements, including faster production speeds, greater accuracy, and simplified operation for users with varying levels of experience.

Monport Mega S: Built for Speed and High-Volume Production
The Monport Mega S is engineered for businesses seeking efficient, high-throughput engraving and cutting capabilities. Powered by a 70W CO₂ laser, the system achieves engraving speeds of up to 600 mm/s, making it well-suited for daily production environments.
One of its standout features is an integrated batch-processing setup that combines high-definition camera positioning with a conveyor belt mechanism. This allows multiple materials to be processed consecutively without interrupting workflow, boosting productivity and reducing manual handling.

Notable features include:

Automatic focus adjustment based on material thickness

HD camera-assisted positioning for accurate design placement

Conveyor belt support for continuous batch production

Enhanced airflow technology for cleaner cuts and smoother edges

High-precision optics for detailed engraving results

The Mega S also supports an optional external air pump upgrade that enhances airflow consistency during operation. This improvement enables cleaner cuts on thicker materials such as acrylic and wood while minimizing burn marks and edge discoloration.

For added versatility, the machine is compatible with rotary attachments, allowing users to engrave cylindrical objects including tumblers, bottles, and wooden logs. These capabilities make the Mega S an attractive solution for businesses looking to scale production while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Reno65 Pro Vision: Smart Automation and User-Friendly Operation
The Reno65 Pro Vision represents the latest advancement in Monport’s Reno series, emphasizing intelligent workflow management and ease of use. Equipped with a 65W CO₂ laser and a spacious 600 x 400 mm work area, the system incorporates an integrated 8MP high-definition camera for real-time workspace monitoring and positioning.

Key features include:

8MP HD camera with accurate workspace visualization

Automatic contour recognition and layout detection

Magnetic-assisted autofocus for quick setup

Batch optimization tools that improve material utilization

These smart functions simplify the engraving process, making the Reno65 Pro Vision an excellent choice for beginners, hobbyists, and small businesses that prioritize precision and convenience.

Choosing Between the Mega S and Reno65 Pro Vision
While both machines are capable of engraving and cutting materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, and slate, they cater to different user priorities.

The Mega S is geared toward users who require faster production speeds, automated workflows, and large-scale batch processing. In contrast, the Reno65 Pro Vision focuses on intelligent imaging technology, simplified operation, and efficient design positioning.

Together, the two systems provide flexible solutions for a wide range of applications, from creative projects and personalized gifts to commercial production and custom manufacturing.

Supporting the Expanding Maker Economy
According to Monport, the introduction of these new models reflects the growing global interest in compact fabrication technologies. By combining automation, precision engineering, and user-friendly features, the company aims to help creators and small businesses increase productivity while expanding their manufacturing capabilities.

Availability
The Monport Mega S and Reno65 Pro Vision are now available as part of the company’s latest lineup of desktop CO₂ laser engraving and cutting solutions.

Click here to view Monport’s official website.

Cyngn has announced a commercial deployment of its DriveMod Tugger system at Vann Family Orchards, a major agricultural processor located in northern California. The rollout features four DriveMod Tuggers, which automate the movement of raw materials between storage and processing areas within the facility's interconnected warehouses. This deployment marks Cyngn's entry into the agricultural processing sector and highlights the growing integration of autonomous material handling in food and agriculture supply chains.

The system partially replaces manual forklift operations while allowing human workers to focus on loading and unloading tasks, creating a hybrid workflow that enhances safety, operational consistency, and equipment utilization.

"At Vann Family Orchards, materials need to move continuously between storage and processing equipment to keep production running smoothly," said Lior Tal, Cyngn’s Chairman and CEO. "This deployment showcases DriveMod’s reliability in agricultural settings, where uptime, throughput, and safety are crucial. Agriculture is one of the world’s most demanding physical industries, and automation is increasingly a core part of its infrastructure."

California produces over $61.2 billion in agricultural goods annually, accounting for roughly half of U.S. vegetables and three-quarters of U.S. fruits and nuts, across more than 400 different crops. The state also supports a vast processing, logistics, and export economy that relies on steady, high-volume material movement. As labor availability tightens and processing volumes grow, automation is becoming essential for maintaining productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency in the food and agriculture supply chain.

Vann Family Orchards, founded in California’s Sacramento Valley, operates large-scale processing facilities serving both domestic and international markets, making it an ideal candidate for autonomous material transport solutions.

This deployment builds on Cyngn’s recent progress in the food and beverage sector, including its previous DriveMod rollout with G&J Pepsi, the largest independent Pepsi bottler in the U.S. Together, these projects demonstrate Cyngn’s expanding role across food, agriculture, and consumer-packaged goods operations.

The system was implemented in collaboration with Chandler Automation, Cyngn’s systems integration partner, which assisted with the design and installation of the automated material flow at the Vann Family Orchards facility.
