Silent Push, a company specializing in proactive cyber defense, has unveiled Silent Push 6.0, a significant upgrade to its cyber defense platform. The latest version is designed to help security teams act more quickly and efficiently through improved usability, enhanced visibility into threat infrastructure, and expanded integration capabilities. The release introduces upgrades to Traffic Origin and new workflow features that support a threat-informed security strategy focused on identifying and mitigating risks before attacks occur.

“Silent Push 6.0 is designed to cut through the noise and deliver actionable intelligence on adversary infrastructure before attacks materialize—something unmatched in the industry,” said Ken Bagnall, CEO and Co-Founder of Silent Push. “This release empowers enterprises and government organizations to identify emerging threats sooner, enabling informed decisions that strengthen cybersecurity defenses at the earliest stages of the attack lifecycle.”

The new platform enhancement is built to integrate seamlessly into existing security operations, helping teams focus on high-priority threats without requiring additional tools or major workflow changes.

Key Enhancements in Silent Push 6.0
Traffic Origin
A newly developed capability exclusive to Silent Push, Traffic Origin provides organizations with deeper visibility into malicious activity, infrastructure shifts, and traffic behavior to accurately identify the true geographic source of internet activity. The feature includes a dedicated user interface, access to a full year of historical data, and more granular permission controls. It supports a range of use cases, including fraud detection, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, recruitment validation, and incident response investigations.

MCP Server Integration
Silent Push has introduced a hosted endpoint that allows its threat intelligence data to connect directly with AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, and other large language models. Security analysts can conduct investigations using natural language queries, enabling tasks such as indicator enrichment, historical DNS analysis, infrastructure mapping, adversary clustering, risk assessment, and creation of investigative reports. By reducing unnecessary context and streamlining data access, the MCP Server helps accelerate investigations while lowering AI token consumption.

Redesigned Navigation and Module Structure
The platform now features three primary modules—Defend, Insight, and Reconnaissance—to simplify navigation and improve operational efficiency. Defend focuses on proactive integrations with SIEM, SOAR, firewall solutions, and Silent Push’s proprietary Indicators of Future Attack® (IOFA). Insight delivers comprehensive artifact context within a unified interface to speed up threat triage. Reconnaissance supports threat hunting and incident response teams by enabling infrastructure tracking and analysis. An additional module, Advanced Attribution, serves as the home for the Traffic Origin capability.

Enhanced TLP Amber Reports
Backend and infrastructure improvements have significantly increased report-loading performance. The updated reporting framework now supports richer content formats, including embedded video tutorials accessible directly within reports. Threat indicators referenced in reports can be explored further through pivoting capabilities, while the newly available TLP Amber Report API provides programmatic access to report metadata and related information.

Bulk Enrichment in Insight
The Bulk Enrichment feature enables analysts to evaluate multiple indicators simultaneously within a centralized dashboard. Designed for the early stages of investigations, it helps security teams quickly prioritize suspicious assets by providing immediate access to Silent Push intelligence. This capability addresses limitations commonly found in single-indicator lookup tools, allowing analysts to identify the most critical threats faster and more effectively.

BTQ Technologies Corp, a technology firm focused on developing trusted infrastructure for the quantum age, has announced the appointment of Brandt Pasco as its U.S. Strategic Advisor for Post-Quantum Cryptography and Security.

In this role, Pasco will help strengthen BTQ’s relationships with U.S. government bodies, public-sector organizations, research institutions, national security agencies, and key industry stakeholders.

His appointment coincides with a significant period for the American quantum technology sector. On June 22, 2026, the White House introduced two executive orders—“Ushering in the Next Frontier of Quantum Innovation” and “Securing the Nation Against Advanced Cryptographic Attacks.” These directives are designed to boost U.S. leadership in quantum computing, sensing, networking, and commercialization while also accelerating the transition of critical federal systems to NIST-approved post-quantum cryptographic standards.

The executive actions build upon several years of federal investment and policy development in quantum science and security. Key milestones include the National Quantum Initiative Act of 2018, federal planning efforts for post-quantum cryptography adoption, NIST’s publication of finalized post-quantum encryption standards in 2024, and the Department of Commerce’s recent proposal of more than $2 billion in CHIPS-related incentives aimed at strengthening the domestic quantum ecosystem.

According to BTQ, the growing policy focus highlights the need for secure and reliable quantum technologies capable of supporting governments, businesses, and critical infrastructure providers as quantum computing advances from experimental research into real-world implementation, procurement, and national security applications.

As Strategic Advisor, Pasco will contribute to BTQ’s U.S. growth strategy across multiple areas, including post-quantum cybersecurity solutions, hardware-based cryptographic acceleration, secure digital asset infrastructure, and quantum software technologies. He will collaborate closely with the company’s leadership team to identify public-private partnership opportunities, support policy engagement efforts, and enhance BTQ’s position within the developing U.S. quantum security landscape.

“Quantum technology is evolving from a research focus into a matter of national infrastructure,” said Olivier Roussy Newton, Chief Executive Officer of BTQ Technologies. “Recent developments in U.S. policy underscore the need for trusted solutions that governments, enterprises, and critical networks can depend on. Brandt’s extensive experience in government, national security, regulation, and business development will be instrumental in expanding our engagement with federal agencies and strategic partners as the industry matures.”

Pasco brings more than 20 years of experience spanning government service, legal affairs, private equity, venture capital, and technology commercialization. His public-sector career includes roughly 15 years serving in influential positions within the U.S. Congress, the Department of Defense, and the National Security Council. He later joined In-Q-Tel, Inc as Associate General Counsel, supporting investments in technologies aligned with U.S. national security objectives.

Beyond government service, Pasco has advised and helped grow a number of technology and manufacturing companies. He previously served as General Counsel for a business that secured contracts exceeding $1 billion in value. He currently leads Pasco & Associates as Managing Member, focusing on technology ventures, venture capital, regulatory strategy, and corporate formation.

“BTQ’s work sits at the convergence of quantum advancement, cybersecurity, and national security,” Pasco said. “As governments move from research initiatives toward deployment, procurement, and cryptographic modernization, organizations with strong technical expertise and proven execution capabilities will play a critical role. I look forward to helping BTQ expand its partnerships, strengthen strategic relationships, and align with policy priorities as it grows its U.S. presence.”

Pasco earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University, where he later taught as an adjunct professor. He also holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.

Cybersecurity and data protection are critical priorities across the organization, reflected in our interactions with customers and suppliers. Our holistic strategy to safeguard data and business systems from attacks, breaches, or losses combines advanced technologies, policies, procedures, and a 24/7 cybersecurity operations team that monitors for threats and responds immediately.

We require all employees to undergo annual information security awareness training, with additional training for specialized roles. Regular simulations of cyberattacks or malicious activities are conducted to improve awareness and responsiveness. Additionally, third-party penetration and vulnerability testing are performed.

Our security policies are reviewed and updated annually to reflect changes in regulations, emerging threats, and best practices. We assess potential cybersecurity risks through internal and external sources, documenting and prioritizing them in a risk register. These risks are reported to a cross-functional cybersecurity risk committee for validation.

While we emphasize prevention and detection, we also have response and recovery plans, service agreements, and partnerships in place to address any incidents. Our security incident response plan outlines the procedures for timely and accurate reporting of significant cybersecurity events. Cyber liability insurance is also maintained.

To strengthen our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats, we have appointed a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a dedicated team to lead the enterprise-wide information security strategy, policies, standards, and processes. The Audit Committee of our Board of Directors meets quarterly with the CISO, Chief Information and Digital Officer, and other senior leaders to review cybersecurity risks, security system improvements, and assessments of our security program. Wesco has also earned ISO 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System.

Thanks to these robust measures, we did not experience any significant data breaches in 2023. Additionally, we completed the planned three-year integration of Wesco and Anixter's infrastructure and security, achieving significant progress in implementing Zero Trust configurations and data loss prevention strategies.

Click here to know more about Wesco’s 2024 Sustainability Report.
