C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC (C&S) has introduced price reductions on thousands of grocery items across its company-operated neighborhood stores, including Family Fare, VG's Grocery, Martin's Super Markets, and Piggly Wiggly. The initiative offers shoppers greater savings on popular everyday products throughout the summer, with prices reduced by 6% to 15% from previous levels. The lower prices are available at stores across Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, helping customers make their grocery budgets go further.

Eric Winn, chief executive officer of C&S, said the company is responding to customers' growing demand for value by lowering prices on thousands of products, particularly in stores that serve rural communities. He noted that the investment reflects C&S's commitment to providing affordable, high-quality groceries while maintaining freshness, product variety, and reliable service, reinforcing its role as a trusted hometown grocer.

The "New Lower Prices" campaign began rolling out in May, featuring reduced prices across store aisles with a strong emphasis on fresh foods such as meat, fruits, and vegetables. Special shelf tags highlight discounted products, making it easy for shoppers to identify savings on items including:

Fresh meats: All-natural boneless chicken breasts, rib-eye steaks, rib roasts, lean ground meat, Nathan's all-beef franks, and Kingsford charcoal briquets.

Fresh fruits and vegetables: Honeycrisp apples, bell peppers, bananas, and a wide selection of family-favorite produce.

Household and pantry essentials: Ketchup, yellow mustard, pickles, Glad tall kitchen bags, Dawn dish detergent, Ziploc storage bags, and other everyday staples.

Throughout the stores, clearly marked price tags showcase discounts on thousands of products, helping shoppers save more on routine purchases. Customers can unlock additional savings through loyalty rewards programs and exclusive digital coupons by registering on their preferred store's website, including Family Fare, VG's Grocery, Martin's, and Piggly Wiggly.
