Lenovo Group Limited has received the “Most Sustainable Organization” distinction within the newly introduced Elite Past Winners (EPW) category by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). The award underscores Lenovo’s long-standing leadership in corporate governance, as well as its strong performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, transparency and reporting.

Launched this year, the EPW category recognizes organizations that have demonstrated consistently high standards and earned HKICPA recognition at least five times over the past ten years. Lenovo’s latest honor represents its thirteenth consecutive year of acknowledgment by HKICPA, placing the company among a select group of top-performing organizations and reinforcing its commitment to robust governance practices and responsible business operations. This sustained recognition further enhances trust and confidence among Lenovo’s global stakeholders.

Beyond this achievement, Lenovo has earned several additional ESG distinctions in recent months. These include maintaining a top-tier AAA score in the MSCI ESG Ratings for the fourth straight year, securing an AA+ rating on the 2025 Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index, and receiving Platinum status from EcoVadis.

These awards were presented by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and jointly by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies (CHKLC) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

At the HKICPA’s Best Corporate Governance and ESG Awards, Lenovo received the Gold Award in the Most Sustainable Companies/Organizations category, recognizing its strong commitment to corporate governance and ESG integration within its values, strategies, and operations. This marks the twelfth consecutive year Lenovo has been acknowledged by the HKICPA.

According to the judges, Lenovo secured the Gold Award due to its detailed disclosure of key risks in its annual report, continuous investment in business diversification, the appointment of a lead independent director, direct investor access to independent directors, board diversity initiatives, development of an ESG data management system, and external verification of select environmental data.

Additionally, Lenovo was honored with the Award of Excellence in Corporate Governance and the Award of Excellence in ESG within the Hang Seng Index Constituent Companies category. These awards, organized by CHKLC and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy (CCGFP) of HKBU, celebrate listed companies that demonstrate strong governance frameworks and well-defined ESG strategies. Lenovo’s governance structure, board diversity, and independence were particularly commended, along with its advanced ESG management system and innovative sustainability efforts.

Earlier this month, Lenovo also received the Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, a globally recognized leader in business sustainability ratings. Scoring 85/100, this recognition places Lenovo among the top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide, further reinforcing its dedication to sustainability.
