Envision Energy, a global provider of green technology solutions, has been issued a Notice to Proceed (NTP) by renewable energy developer Neoen for the supply and installation of wind turbines at the 179MW Narrogin Wind Farm in Western Australia. The contract represents another milestone in Envision's Australian expansion strategy and strengthens its presence in one of the world's rapidly growing renewable energy markets while advancing its vision for an integrated Future Energy System.

The Narrogin project will feature 23 EN182-7.8 MW smart wind turbines from Envision, each equipped with a 155-metre hub height and a 182-metre rotor diameter. These will be the largest wind turbines installed in Australia to date. Engineered to enhance energy output while reducing the levelised cost of electricity, the turbines are expected to generate enough clean power for nearly 100,000 homes annually and supply around 3% of the yearly electricity demand of Western Australia's South West Interconnected System (SWIS).

The development is Envision Energy's second active wind project in Australia within the past year, following its deployment of 17 EN182-7.8 MW turbines in the Pilbara region. It also marks the company's first grid-connected wind farm project for an Australian customer. The facility will connect to Western Power's existing 220kV transmission network serving the SWIS. Envision will oversee the supply, transportation, installation and commissioning of the turbines in collaboration with UGL and CPB Contractors, both part of the CIMIC Group. Additionally, the company has signed a 30-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) agreement with Neoen to provide long-term support aimed at optimising the wind farm's reliability and performance throughout its operational lifespan.

Kane Xu, Senior Vice President and President of International Product Line at Envision Energy, said the global energy transition is evolving beyond simply increasing renewable generation to creating intelligent and integrated energy infrastructure. He noted that Australia remains a key strategic market for the company, with the Narrogin Wind Farm representing another important step in its long-term investment in the country. Xu added that Envision's Future Energy System combines smart wind technology, grid-forming battery storage and AI-driven energy management to help deliver a cleaner, more resilient and cost-effective energy future for Australia.

Peter Cowling, Head of Wind at Envision Energy Australia, said the company is pleased to partner with Neoen in delivering Australia's largest wind turbines and contributing to the nation's clean energy ambitions. He noted that the Narrogin project strengthens Envision's collaboration with Neoen while showcasing the company's advanced technology and local project execution capabilities. Together with its project partners, Envision aims to complete the development safely, maintain high quality standards and maximise long-term asset performance through its operations and maintenance expertise.

Jean-Christophe Cheylus, Regional CEO for Australia Pacific at Neoen, expressed appreciation for the confidence shown by Synergy and the Government of Western Australia. He said Neoen is excited to collaborate with Envision, UGL and CPB Contractors on its first wind farm on Australia's west coast. Cheylus also acknowledged the contributions of host landowners, the Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation and the broader local community, adding that the project will play a significant role in delivering reliable and clean electricity for Western Australia.

Envision Energy continues to expand its global renewable energy portfolio by integrating smart wind technology, grid-forming battery storage, AI-enabled energy management and digital energy platforms. The company has delivered more than 100 GW of wind power capacity and over 50 GWh of battery energy storage systems worldwide, combining international expertise with local implementation to accelerate the transition toward cleaner, more reliable and affordable energy solutions.

Global green technology company Envision Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with energy storage specialist Pulse Clean Energy to develop a major battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK. The facility will deliver a total capacity of 129 MW / 310 MWh.

The project represents a significant advancement in the deployment of Envision's Future Energy Systems solutions in the UK, contributing to the development of a more flexible, reliable and low-carbon electricity network. The collaboration was officially announced during Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany.

While the project was initially conceived as a two-hour duration storage system, Envision has enhanced the design to provide 2.4 hours of operational autonomy, demonstrating the company's ability to adapt its technologies to changing grid requirements. Drawing on its global expertise in AI-enabled Future Energy Systems, Envision will provide a comprehensive storage solution incorporating its seventh-generation BESS platform, advanced battery technologies and grid-forming capabilities. These features are designed to improve grid stability, increase system flexibility and support growing electricity demand driven by electrification.

Supported by Envision's UK-based team with extensive experience in grid integration and Balance-of-Plant execution, the project has been specifically designed to address the evolving demands of the British energy sector. It is expected to facilitate greater integration of renewable energy sources, enhance regional energy security and contribute to the decarbonization of major industries in the region, including manufacturing and logistics. In addition, independent third-party ESG due diligence has reinforced Envision's commitment to transparency, responsible project delivery and sustainable development practices.

Henry Peng, Senior Vice President of Envision Energy and President of the Europe and Latin America regions, stated: "We are pleased to collaborate with Pulse Clean Energy on this landmark initiative, which highlights Envision's growing reputation as a trusted provider of system-level energy solutions. As the global energy sector continues to transform, there is an increasing need for smarter, more flexible and resilient energy infrastructure. By combining advanced storage technologies with AI-driven Future Energy Systems, Envision remains committed to working with partners worldwide to create a more adaptive energy ecosystem that accelerates renewable energy adoption, supports industrial decarbonization and advances the transition to a sustainable energy future."

Aazzum Yassir, Director of Technology and Operations at Pulse Clean Energy, commented: "The UK's energy system is undergoing rapid change, and battery storage has become a vital component of modern electricity infrastructure. Energy storage systems help balance supply and demand, improve grid reliability and contribute to more affordable electricity for both consumers and businesses."

He added: "Our collaboration with Envision Energy marks an important step toward strengthening energy infrastructure in the West Midlands, and we look forward to delivering lasting benefits to the local grid, businesses and communities."

Vasilis Ntanovasilis, Director of Asset Delivery at Pulse Clean Energy, said: "This partnership reflects our shared commitment to accelerating the UK's transition to cleaner energy. Envision's technological capabilities and expertise in delivering integrated energy systems align closely with our strategy of developing and operating large-scale, world-class energy storage assets."

He further noted: "Executing projects of this scale is central to Pulse's mission, and I am confident that our combined strengths will establish a new benchmark for energy storage deployment in the UK, enhancing grid resilience and supporting the nation's clean energy objectives for the long term."
