Infineon Technologies, a global leader in power systems and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, has become part of NVIDIA’s MGX AI Factory ecosystem, contributing advanced power delivery technologies for the next generation of AI data centers. The company’s power management portfolio will support NVIDIA’s MGX™ platform and 800 VDC power architecture—an open and modular framework developed to meet the demands of AI factories in the era of agentic AI. By enabling 800 VDC MGX™-compatible power racks, Infineon helps existing AI infrastructure achieve greater computing capacity and power density while providing a pathway for future upgrades.

Adam White, President of Infineon’s Power & Sensor Systems Division, stated that the collaboration with NVIDIA aims to reshape power distribution from the electrical grid all the way to the processor level, a critical requirement for advancing AI technologies. He noted that as AI models become increasingly sophisticated and resource-intensive, data centers must significantly boost computational performance while operating within existing space, energy, and cooling limitations. Through the combination of NVIDIA’s flexible MGX architecture and Infineon’s power solutions, data centers can achieve more efficient energy distribution across their power networks. He also expressed enthusiasm about continuing joint efforts to bring additional MGX-based innovations to market.

Infineon’s expertise in end-to-end power conversion spans the entire power chain, from grid infrastructure to processor cores, utilizing a range of semiconductor technologies including silicon (Si), silicon carbide (SiC), and gallium nitride (GaN). This broad technological foundation supports the industry's move toward large-scale adoption of 800 VDC architectures. Infineon’s GaN-based solutions, operating at switching frequencies approaching 1 MHz, enable highly compact bus converters with exceptional efficiency. Additionally, the company’s proprietary SiC JFET technology, paired with specialized control integrated circuits, provides effective protection and hot-swap capabilities for native 800 V server boards. These solutions facilitate power conversion from 800 V to intermediate voltages such as 50 V, 12 V, and even 6 V.

Within the NVIDIA MGX AI Factory ecosystem, Infineon supports the full 800 VDC power conversion pathway, delivering intermediate bus and core voltages for systems built on NVIDIA MGX architecture. By minimizing the number of power conversion stages and bringing DC power closer to server racks, the approach enhances overall energy efficiency, streamlines infrastructure requirements, and enables higher-density AI computing environments.

Beelink has unveiled its first range of devices powered by Intel’s newest Wildcat Lake low-power platform, introducing enhanced performance, AI processing, and energy efficiency to compact computing solutions. The lineup consists of two mini PCs and a NAS-focused system, making Beelink among the first manufacturers to integrate Wildcat Lake technology across multiple device categories.

Intel 18A Brings Major Architectural Advancements
The foundation of the new platform is Intel’s cutting-edge 18A manufacturing process. Featuring RibbonFET gate-all-around transistor technology and PowerVia backside power delivery, the process delivers substantial improvements in energy efficiency, thermal management, and signal integrity over earlier FinFET-based designs. Paired with Intel’s latest Cougar Cove performance cores and Darkmont efficiency cores, Wildcat Lake is engineered to provide stronger performance while consuming less power.

Powering the entire Beelink Wildcat Lake family is the Intel Core 3 304 processor. The chip combines one performance core with four efficiency cores, integrated Xe3-LPG graphics, and a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) designed for AI-driven tasks. Compared with the previous-generation Core i3-N305, the Core 3 304 offers up to 120% better single-threaded performance and approximately 60% higher multi-threaded performance. It also delivers up to 24 TOPS of AI computing capability, enabling local AI inference, intelligent productivity features, and real-time AI-enhanced applications.

Designed for Diverse Computing Needs
Each of the three new Beelink systems includes dual USB4 connectivity and 10GbE networking, while catering to different usage requirements.

The EQ mini is designed for streamlined desktop environments, featuring an ultra-compact footprint and an integrated 45W power supply. It is aimed at everyday productivity tasks and AI-enhanced workflows.

The EQi expands networking capabilities with both 10GbE and 2.5GbE Ethernet connections, along with a built-in 85W power supply. This configuration makes it well suited for networking applications, edge computing deployments, and demanding multitasking scenarios.

The ME Pro merges mini PC performance with NAS functionality in a single compact device. Equipped with dual 3.5-inch drive bays, alongside 10GbE and 2.5GbE networking, it is built for storage-intensive workloads, AI processing, and professional productivity tasks.

Compact AI-Powered Computing for the Mainstream
The launch reflects the increasing demand for compact desktop systems that combine AI readiness, strong connectivity, and power-efficient operation. By integrating AI acceleration with low-energy hardware, Beelink is targeting a wide range of users, including home consumers, content creators, small businesses, and edge computing deployments.

Through its new Wildcat Lake-based portfolio, Beelink seeks to make Intel’s 18A technology and advanced AI capabilities available in affordable, energy-efficient systems, helping bring AI-powered PCs further into the mainstream desktop market.
