04/30/2017

Catch the highlights of BAE’s 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility Report.

Dailycsr.com – 30 April 2017 – BAE Systems is proud of their work and the way they execute them, right from the developmental stage of its “innovative products and services” to providing the customers with “the best possible service”, besides “investing” in its employees and the “future workforce”.

At BAE Systems the annual report takes on an “integrated approach” detailing its CSR engagements and performance. The report for the year of 2016, charts out the progress made by the company on its “CR agenda”, while retaining the focus on the strategic decisions and key area performance that include “business conduct, safety, diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability and community investment”.

Moreover, the report also gives “a clear statement” about BAE’s future intentions of continuous improvement in the above mentioned areas. Here are the highlights of the report, as mentioned by Ethical Performance:
  • Continued progress in engaging employees and developing the company’s ethics programme
  • Our approach to embedding safety across the company’s operations so that all employees understand the importance of a safe workplace
  • Progress in developing a diversity and inclusion strategy to help us build a workforce that more closely reflects the diversity of the local population in each of our key markets
  • Our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our operations
  • Globally, we and our employees, through the Community Investment programme, contributed more than £11m during 2016 to local, national and international charities, and not-for-profit organisations.
