Governor Gretchen Whitmer Launches Historic $1.4 Billion Housing Initiative in Michigan

Shortly after presenting her sixth State of the State Address, Governor Gretchen Whitmer embarked on a statewide tour beginning in Benton Harbor, where she visited the Emma Jean Hull Flats on Riverview Drive. Whitmer has committed to investing $1.4 billion in nearly 10,000 homes across Michigan by the year's end, marking the largest housing investment in the state's history, as stated by her.
